Personality: Carinae has always had an instinct for direction. It doesn’t matter how turned around he gets, nine times out of ten, he will find where it is he needs to go. It was this ability that his original flight used him for. He would lead them on hunts and make sure everyone returned home safely, always choosing the path with the least amount of danger. Some of the more brave members of the flight resented the avoidance, feeling that maybe Carinae thought they couldn’t handle protecting their own. This ambivalence lead to several instances of confrontation, the end result always being Carinae finding a way to escape and avoid his pursuers.

The more conflicts there were, the less Carinae would lead the flight on hunts. The less he did that, the more injuries that returned. But pride is a difficult thing to master. In the end, Carinae left. In his travels he came across Mira and her rider. He had nowhere else to go, and Mira intrigued him, so he stuck around and lead them wherever it was they wanted to go. Gradually, he came accept Mira’s rider, and now they are their own little flight. The rider was given plenty of trouble to earn the respect of Carinae, though if you asked them, they would say Carinae was worth it.
